even as a kid, i have always loved eating ice cream.  here where i work, the catering either serves a local brand that comes in plastic cups but if you ask them “scooped”.. what they’ll give you is a baskin robbins ice cream.  my favorite is the pralines ‘n cream flavor- vanilla ice cream with buttery, caramel candy-coated pecan pieces and a caramel ribbon.  askar, the bangladeshi waiter from the mess hall knows that i am fond of it and the other day after dinner he told me that he has something for me.. it was a half gallon of the said ice cream!  i hurriedly went straight to my sleeping quarters and devoured it..
